Cotaplan have started the first day of installing a large portable building block at a mine in Devon. The picture, taken by our Site Manager Bob, shows the first 4 sections of what will be a 23-bay complex installed over 3 days.
Manufacturing offsite allows the building to be delivered with all the partitions, doors and windows already fitted – vastly reducing the amount of time until occupation. In this case, the building is being sited onto existing foundation slabs too.
